With each interpersonal event comes an opportunity to share a bit of heartfelt love. Some people won’t appreciate that. They may accuse you of [inconsiderate] laughter because you cannot hide your joy — which manages to bubble up and surface — sometimes a bit inconveniently.
But be love-conscious anyway. When there’s a misunderstanding, hold the other’s spirit-self in mental embrace. Feed with the emotional nutrients of loving kindness.
Allow your Higher Self to be the expression of who you are. Playfulness bubbles up from a navel-level subconscious awareness of blissful reality, while Higher Self floods downward from the crown chakra like a waterfall of refreshing stability and cosmic-consciousness.
You may call your subconscious the Inner Child. The Higher Consciousness, your Angel Guide.
You are whole within yourself. Allow yourself to be conscious of your complete guidance system. Illumine the ego with love and it will cease to hold power over your emotions. Then your mind will be set free to do your Higher Consciousness work.
My path in this ephemeral, changing, evolving dense material world is one of love and the sharing of loving vibrations. An opening of the heart chakra — opening of arms, loving, clasping all humanity into my sphere of love, ever expanding, moving through situations and events with tranquil knowing that love always is, that joy permeates all, that hearts and minds can be healed to vibrate in the realm of divine presence.
I needed to loosen that last stronghold of ego, to allow that place in me to be permeated with love, to let go of the ego — that seat of wanting, desiring, craving, of not being satisfied with what is. That place of opinions for or against — that knot of judgment, which I have given over to the divine light of love.
Now I am sensitive to the lower vibration rumbling compared to the high vibe of loving bliss. To stay in that bliss is my goal — to be blissed out enough to share joy with whoever I come in contact with — so those who are able to perceive are blessed and those who aren’t may be affected in a way that may produce a later awareness that goodness does exist in this realm.
So many are confused — so very confused by the propensity and surroundingness of this dense material world. With that outside and the place of hard, harsh, wanting, desiring ego inside, they are confused and turned away from the beauty of love which is so evident and obvious once all outer distractions are put in their place.
There is only love — that’s what will last. That’s what we’ll take with us into any realm we traverse. The rest is ephemeral. A glittering, glistening desire for this or that material thing or pleasure — and once held, once achieved, what’s left but to turn the heart and mind to some other temporary thing?
Yet if the soul’s heart learns to share love — that will last from now to forever and in fact always has been, always will be.
Tonight I found Paramahansa Yogananda’s Prayer for Peace posted on the website of the Self Realization Fellowship, the organization he founded. I recorded it on my Sansa (similar to an iPod only cheaper) and took it into the other room for meditation. I find it difficult to meditate in this room due to electromagnetic frequencies from the computer. I went out into the living room and listened to the blessed prayer I’d recorded, then was inspired to chant “Om Shanti” for a time. I highly recommend it as an enlightening heart-love experience that envelops the world. This kind of strong joyful peace-giving emotion of love directed at world leaders, and at every world citizen, can truly make changes in this world.
My fascination with Paramahansa Yogananda is recent. I woke up about two weeks ago with a clear memory of seeing Paramahansa Yogananda in my dream. He approached me twice to say something, I’m not sure what. He uttered a sound, somewhat harshly I thought, and pointed at me forcefully. As I said, it happened twice. I don’t know what he said because my waking mind couldn’t bear it, I guess. But ever since then I’ve been in a rush to gain yogic wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda himself, and from other sources who I may name in another post. I’ve found some amazing spiritual teachers online!
I recall that much earlier in my life I was enthralled by reading a blessed book, The Path of the Masters: The Science of Surat Shabd Yoga The Yoga of the Audible Life Stream. It was given to me by my librarian at a continuation high school I attended. She was a devotee of Sant Mat. She also introduced me to Siddhartha, by Herman Hesse, and invited me to her home for a vegetarian dinner. I’m not sure whether I became vegetarian before or after I met her, but it has been my preference for many years. I remember being seventeen at the time I met her, and seventeen when I became a vegetarian. Maybe she took an interest in me because I told her I intended to be vegetarian, or was starting to be one. (I’m fifty-six now, so you’ll understand why I can’t remember the details. That was thirty-nine years ago!)
About that time I also heard about Paramahansa Yogananda’s most famous work, Autobiography of a Yogi. I feel a tad bit frustrated with myself for not reading it then! But right now I have a copy and am reading it - and find it to be easily understood and fascinating. He tells his story in a way that keeps the pages turning. There’s nothing here that’s too difficult for an average human to understand.
In my search for yogic wisdom I came across a great website - GurusFeet - which provides social networking for all people following or looking for a guru. I’ve also written about my search for gurus online at the Squidoo site. I will be updating that page as I learn more and have time for updates.
If you go to GurusFeet.Com you can find my page here: LindaJM - I hope you’ll connect with me there!
This is a collection of dowsing and pendulum healing resources:
I learned a lot about pendulum dowsing this year, using it for everything from changing energetic fields from negative to positive, to predictions. I correctly predicted who would win the US presidential election even before he won the primary election! Of course the most important task is dowsing healing.
Since dowsing has become a big part of my healing and spiritual practice, I’ve put together the following resource on dowsing.
If anyone still believes that you can ask pendulums only yes or no questions, you really should learn more about it from Raymon Grace. I never really understood how powerful a tool pendulum dowsing can be for healing until I watched his videos.
There’s a very useful dowsing chart in the free e-book, A Letter to Robin (backtrack to the last paragraph if you skipped that one.) That chart should fill the needs of every beginner. However when you feel the need to go beyond that, you can find an outstanding book of dowsing charts at Amazon: Pendulum Charts: Knowing Your Intuitive Mind. I purchased this book a few months ago and find it to be very useful. There are 49 charts in this book, plus one blank that you can use for any purpose that fits your needs. The pre-designed charts are all half-circles, which I prefer to full-circle charts. The charts available in this book: Master Chart, Alphabetical-Numerical, Yes/No Percentage Chart, Quantity Factor, Time Factor, Vitamins Chart, Essential & Trace Minerals Chart, Amino Acids Chart, Tissue Salts Chart, Food Supplements Chart, Anti-Oxidants Chart, pH Acid/Alkaline Chart, Enzymes For Digestion Chart, Herbal Remedies Charts (three of them), Flower Essence Remedies Charts (two of them), Nutrition and Food Allergies Chart, and many others including chakras and even automobile diagnosis! This book is printed on heavy card stock and the covers are water resistant.
There’s another pendulum chart book, Practical Pendulum Book: With Instructions for Use and 38 Pendulum Charts. I haven’t purchased this one yet but I looked through the preview section on Amazon and saw that it has a lot of charts that are different from the charts in the book I purchased. For example there’s a chart to help a person choose a profession, and another chart for help in deciding what to do during a holiday vacation.
Pendulum
Do you need a good pendulum? I bought this kit a while back. I never used the cards and book that came with it, but the little silver pendulum was my favorite until one day last summer when I took a trip to Mt. Shasta and lost my little pendulum. Thankfully I was in MT. SHASTA which has lots of metaphysical bookstores. First I drove to the top of the mountain again to see if I could find my silver pendulum, but it was gone. So I drove down to the little town of Mt. Shasta and fortunately got into a store just before it closed, and bought two gorgeous pendulums - one for me and an identical pendulum for my significant other, Bob.
Anyhow, if you need a pendulum you could either drive to Mt. Shasta and look to see if you can find mine, or just buy this pendulum dowsing kit. The little silver pendulum is awesome. Bob and I have talked about buying another.
This page is my permanent resource page for dowsing healing and especially pendulum healing. Whenever I find more resources worth sharing, I’ll post them here.
I bought a set of Morgan’s Tarot cards back in the sixties when I was a teenager - probably fifteen years old. I bought mine at the Shambala bookstore in Berkeley on Telegraph Avenue. They were plain white cards with line drawings, so I got out my felt pen set and colored most of them in. That makes my set unique.
Morgan Robbins originally created the cards for his own use only, but was convinced to allow them to be published. They are whimsical and representative of sixties-hippie thinking. Cards include Far Out, Marijuana, Bliss, and Somewhere There’s an Energy Leak. Illustrations were done by Darshan Chorpash and the cards were printed in Belgium.
Now for the bad news and the good news.
The bad news is that these amazing cards are no longer published. I wish they were! I just saw a set for sale for $750 on Amazon!
The good news is that you can deal them out right here on the internet!
