Clearing Emotional Distress
June 24, 2007
This is a simple five-step method for clearing emotional distress.
1. Get some rest. If you haven’t slept recently, lay down and rest for a few minutes. Give yourself a break.
2. Relax. Rest until your muscles start relaxing. Relax them intentionally if need be, by sending the command, “relax” to your various muscle groups starting with your feet and moving up to arms, shoulders, and head.
3. Breathe. A simple 4/8 breathing pattern will do the job. Breathe in through your nose to the count of four, and then purse your lips and breathe slowly out through your mouth to the count of eight. Do this at least five to ten times in your relaxed condition.
4. Rejoice. Breathing leads naturally to rejoicing because you are alive, and the breathing reminds you of that. You are a point of consciousness using a physical body to navigate through an evolving moment of time. Forget all your sorrows as you rejoice in being here now. Center yourself in this awareness of who you really are, and you will be able to make more appropriate decisions about how to feel and react in the situations you’re enduring.
Be grounded, knowing that your physical body is part of Mother Earth, and your consciousness is a gift of Father Spirit, implanted in the part of earth you occupy. You are here for a purpose, alive on earth, and in this, you have the reason to rejoice. You know who you are, and you are equal to and independent of all others, though through Father Spirit and Mother Earth we are all related.
5. Be clear of all emotional struggles. If something doesn’t feel good - it is a struggle. Don’t be afraid to eliminate cording between you and anyone else involved. If a relationship is good enough to keep, it will naturally build new cords of love as time passes. Don’t be afraid to start over with the people you love and are attached to.
To eliminate all old cords, many recommend cutting them mentally, however I prefer to dissolve them. The reason I do this is that cutting cords leaves traces of them wrapped around your emotional body. Instead, visualize the cords dissolving naturally, dissipating into nothingness, and be sure the dissolving reaches to the ends of any cording wrapped around you. In this way you free yourself from all attachments and come back into your own power. You become your own leader and your higher self, aware of its reality and conscious presence on this earth, guides you to appropriate decisions and harmonious emotions.

This came to me in a flash of inspiration and I wrote it down. As soon as I had a need for it - I tried it - and it worked for me. I hope you’ll find it helpful should you be dealing with depression or other difficult emotional conditions.

Good advice, it’s been proven when you don’t sleep well you get more stressed out.
One piece you should add is talking about it. Talking can help sometimes.

For the deeper stress, we would add daily meditation as a means of unifying with
oneself and recognize that there are Angels will to assist if you will seek their help

The most intriguing concept is ‘entity removal’ as there are likely many who have been taught to expect that external negative energies cannot possibly exist, yet constantly we hear tales of mortals, in particular, children who are beset by them. Since nobody believes them, sadly, they often must face the attacks alone.
