Thanks for your comment, Patricia... I just thought of another meaning. If the apartments closest to the river are the most successful, like my Fight CPS blog, and I'm running away when the river rises... then maybe I'm afraid of success. Sounds like something I could use EFT on.

I took a dream interpretation class many years ago. At the time I had absolutely no talent at it, yet I learned a lot about basic dream interpretation. Years later I started to notice I'd developed some skill at being able to pick out meanings from dreams. Sometimes it takes me a few days to meditate on a dream, before I get a good interpretation, but this time I figured it out right away.

That is a great interpretation of your dream. Dreams can be great healers for us when we look at their meanings. You taught me a few things with this dream. I also have dreams with flooding in them, not recently though. I took a dream class once that helped me interpret my dreams. Water is supposed to represent emotions. I used to dream regularly that I was out driving and would come over a hill to find the road completely underwater. Some times I would be able to stop before getting in the water and sometimes I wouldn't. I used to be terrified in those dreams. Not so much any more, so I must have gotten the lesson. When I am working on my incest issues, I get lots of dreams with water in them. I see the water as representing the emotions that are still attached to the incest issues. Thanks for making me think. That is what I like about the blogging community.
