Jaguar creates spots… diversions, so his true nature cannot be seen. He hides in the bushes, stalking prey, then pounces. Quick, out in the open. Quick, back in the darkness. He doesn’t let others see him as he really is.

Jaguar desired anonymity so severely he caused spots to be seen all over his body. This camoflage is instrumental in getting him the sustenance he needs. He finds strength in hiding… in being reticent until the time is perfect for hunting. Jaguar’s muscles are responsive in highly sudden ways, as bidden by his well-directed mind.

As I sense the Jaguar spirit I find myself tense and apprehensive, yet powerful and determined. Jaguar will always find a way to do what needs to be done. Nothing can stop Jaguar… he is master of his destiny, and totally focused on the needs of the hour. He is a formidable opponent who will take no more than he can digest. He is a practical and moderate.

Jaguar is self-protective and witty, conserving in energy, and observant. He strikes to kill, not to harm or maim. Therefore you see, Jaguar takes no action unless it is sure to be a successful move. Jaguar is decisive and assured in his direction.

On a Jaguar day, be prepared to observe from afar, to hide behind a protective outer surface, and refuse to act unless you know the timing is perfect and success is assured.
