Most of us are victims of mind control foisted on us by media and corporations, governments, cults, and even some community leaders. There is a way for spiritually aware people to escape and heal from this assault. Simply put, we must elevate our consciousness.

Initiates into the spiritual life can do this by finding a source of higher consciousness vibrations, and aligning their energies to it. For example, prayers, spiritual music, yoga, pranayama, qi gong, or whatever attracts you with spiritual higher consciousness beauty. An initiate could also find a guru, preacher, or spiritual master and emulate that person.

I’ve found Baha’i prayers to be a powerful source of higher consciousness vibrations and I use them to align myself daily. I also recently enjoyed my visit to a pyramid on Mt. Shasta where two unseen spiritual entities aligned me to the powerful healing vibration of the pyramid energy. I would love to go back! I also align to higher consciousness by listening to Jo Dunning’s Abundance Project recordings at World Puja, and recently joined her Instant Access program. I also get a charge from evangelist Joel Osteen’s uplifting, encouraging sermons and recently read one of his books.

As you can see, I like to diversify my higher-vibrational sources. Clinging to only one source would be like putting my mind into the control of another. Cult mind control is as dangerous as mind control by corrupt governments or media sources. I seek the light of God wherever it may be without prejudice regarding the source. Escape from religious prejudice is a great gift and a door to enlightenment.

After finding the Light of Lights within, you may see these methods and holy books as fingers pointing at the moon. They are. But they are still helpful for alignment with higher consciousness. To find a compatible, open-minded, open-hearted group of light seekers is a profound blessing. Group consciousness can amplify our own efforts to transform spiritually, especially if that group doesn’t limit our options and resources.

The point is that we, as spiritual beings, must choose to control our own minds rather than let media moguls manipulate and lie to us. We need to be discerning about who or what we open our minds to. The choices are ours alone, and nobody else can choose for us. Either we control our own minds by elevating our consciousness, or corporate media will gladly take over.
