Puma Totem Symbolism & Meaning

July 1, 2010

Puma comes into this world unafraid. He comes before us with vengeance and power, unafraid of any living thing, unafraid because he represents courage in all aspects, and a willingness to try new things without fear. Now you who have drawn Puma as your totem be it for an hour, a day or a year, must learn from this powerful creature that stalks and pounces on its prey and emerges triumphant, without remorse, for it is yet another day, and all hunger must be fed.

We are not saying to be unkind, far from this you must flee! However there are lessons to be learned. Examine your own life to find elements that cannot be sustained. You are free when you admit defeat in simple things, and yet become triumphant in others. This applies to time management skills, for example. You as Puma must root out all that is unnecessary, end it, and through that compassionate purging of your life, emerge as victor, able to complete more, do more, and be more. Be not afraid!

The profound truth is that we cannot allow everything to live. It is not possible on this plane, yet we are not suffering to take lives as does Puma. But watch him, how he pounces when he sees the weak, the vulnerable, the unnecessary in life’s scheme of things. You too can take out from your life all that isn’t needed, and convert that space to something you can use, as Puma converts his food, his prey, into energy, and new life. It is sad, but true. We await your decision, for in the end it is you who needs to change.

All be it sanctioned from this heart to yours. Amen. So be it. Hallowed space awaits the writer and friends.

My Mother-Self, So Full of Fear

December 27, 2009

Spiritual love, a gift from the Father, tries hard to shake me free from the mother persona I’ve acquired on Earth. I am female, and a mother of five Earthlings. I trained myself over the course of many years to watch out for these little ones, to hover over them, helping, guiding, and loving them. In this process I gained knowledge of many fears as I struggled to keep my children safe.

I need to relieve myself of these fears, and yet I loathe to let go. I cling to the silly idea that somehow my fear will keep me from danger, and instead, the fear keeps me from total enlightenment.

The greatest fear, and the one I’ve had the hardest time letting go of, is the fear of death. How deeply ingrained has this fear been, to infiltrate my trust in the universe, to stab me with a sword of darkness? When did I receive this fear? When did I allow it in?

Fear of death does nothing for me. It only keeps me from oneness with the Divine Light.

It is a fact that my existence here on Earth (I like to call it Terra) is simply a gift of the Divine Will. If Divine Will didn’t want me here, I could be eliminated in an instant.

The fact that you are still breathing means that there’s still a reason for you to be here. There is nothing to be afraid about. We all exist on the basis of Divine Grace.

I have done terrible things in this lifetime, for which I am deeply regretful and for which my spirit sighs with sorrow. Those things were done out of ignorance. I was not aligned properly with Divine Spirit. I did not know the consequences of my ignorant actions. I beg for forgiveness and know the most difficult forgiveness must come from my inner self.

I asked Divine Light for reasons why I’m still alive. Here’s what I was told.
Reason #1 - You are beautiful.
Reason #2 - We need you. You are a beautiful part of what is.

That’s all I was told. I guess I was hoping for some kind of precognition of some great benefit I’d give humanity in the future. I didn’t get that. I just got Divine Love and Acceptance. For this, I am grateful. I know I don’t deserve to be here. But Divine Grace sustains and keeps me here anyhow. Gratitude is the only realistic response.

Can you relate?

Feeling Your Heart Chakra

December 17, 2009

Everyone can feel their heart chakra. If you think not, just close your eyes and place your attention in the area of your heart. What is that? Living, throbbing, love energy, perhaps?

We relate to our heart chakras in different ways. Some relate happily with all this love energy. Some relate with fear.

I have been one to relate to my heart chakra with fear, which choked out most the love within me. I could still be aware of it, but the love was not strong compared to the fear cutting it off, obscuring its beauty. Not enough love got through to make a considerable difference in my life or in the lives of others around me.

I now feel the vibration of love expanding. Fear is being chased away.
