I learned a lot about pendulum dowsing this year, using it for everything from changing energetic fields from negative to positive, to predictions. I correctly predicted who would win the US presidential election even before he won the primary election! Of course the most important task is dowsing healing.

Since dowsing has become a big part of my healing and spiritual practice, I’ve put together the following resource on dowsing.

Raymon Grace

My dowsing teacher is Raymon Grace. I’ve never met him but purchased two of his DVDs and read both of his dowsing books: The Future Is Yours: Do Something About It! and Techniques That Work for Me, a Mini-Course in Management of Energy for Improving Your Life. Raymon Grace is a pioneer in development of dowsing healing techniques using both a pendulum and a bobber.

Raymon Grace has several websites. Here are three of them: Raymon Grace Projects, Raymon Grace, and The Raymon Grace Foundation. Raymon Grace also has a page on the Coast to Coast AM site as he’s been interviewed there three times, discussing dowsing, healing, energizing water, and expelling entities.

If anyone still believes that you can ask pendulums only yes or no questions, you really should learn more about it from Raymon Grace. I never really understood how powerful a tool pendulum dowsing can be for healing until I watched his videos.

Beginning Dowsing Instructions

If you’re starting to study dowsing you should read A Letter To Robin: A Mini-Course in Pendulum Dowsing, a free e-book by Walt Woods. There’s a companion e-book called Companion to A Letter To Robin which contains information for teachers and students, and much more. This is all essential information.

Dowsing Charts

There’s a very useful dowsing chart in the free e-book, A Letter to Robin (backtrack to the last paragraph if you skipped that one.) That chart should fill the needs of every beginner. However when you feel the need to go beyond that, you can find an outstanding book of dowsing charts at Amazon: Pendulum Charts: Knowing Your Intuitive Mind. I purchased this book a few months ago and find it to be very useful. There are 49 charts in this book, plus one blank that you can use for any purpose that fits your needs. The pre-designed charts are all half-circles, which I prefer to full-circle charts. The charts available in this book: Master Chart, Alphabetical-Numerical, Yes/No Percentage Chart, Quantity Factor, Time Factor, Vitamins Chart, Essential & Trace Minerals Chart, Amino Acids Chart, Tissue Salts Chart, Food Supplements Chart, Anti-Oxidants Chart, pH Acid/Alkaline Chart, Enzymes For Digestion Chart, Herbal Remedies Charts (three of them), Flower Essence Remedies Charts (two of them), Nutrition and Food Allergies Chart, and many others including chakras and even automobile diagnosis! This book is printed on heavy card stock and the covers are water resistant.

There’s another pendulum chart book, Practical Pendulum Book: With Instructions for Use and 38 Pendulum Charts. I haven’t purchased this one yet but I looked through the preview section on Amazon and saw that it has a lot of charts that are different from the charts in the book I purchased. For example there’s a chart to help a person choose a profession, and another chart for help in deciding what to do during a holiday vacation.

Pendulum

Do you need a good pendulum? I bought this kit a while back. I never used the cards and book that came with it, but the little silver pendulum was my favorite until one day last summer when I took a trip to Mt. Shasta and lost my little pendulum. Thankfully I was in MT. SHASTA which has lots of metaphysical bookstores. First I drove to the top of the mountain again to see if I could find my silver pendulum, but it was gone. So I drove down to the little town of Mt. Shasta and fortunately got into a store just before it closed, and bought two gorgeous pendulums - one for me and an identical pendulum for my significant other, Bob.

Anyhow, if you need a pendulum you could either drive to Mt. Shasta and look to see if you can find mine, or just buy this pendulum dowsing kit. The little silver pendulum is awesome. Bob and I have talked about buying another.

There are many methods that can be used to end pain and suffering; how will your energy therapist know which to use when? Chances are, your healer will use intuition as a guide. Intuitive healing is the name given for judging what to do in a medical situation by using inner insight and wisdom rather than through intellectual analysis. Intuitive healers not only know enough about how energy therapy works to be able to practice it, they are confident that their insights are valid and are not afraid to act on them.

For example when working on someone with pain in their neck I may start by running Reiki energy into the afflicted place, then add Quantum Touch, then decide that a section on the back of the head needs energy attention, then move to another place that I sense may be affecting the neck problem. I might add some EFT to all this, to clear energy meridian blockages. I will proceed by what I feel is right for the patient; doing this is what I call intuitive healing; my ability to do this has been gained from many years of experience with my intuition, and confidence in my ability to do the right thing using energy healing methods.

All this doesn’t mean a client shouldn’t also consult a medical doctor; I am all in favor of using traditional medicine where needed. But running energy into the site of pain can and often does alleviate the situation. It helps a person use their body and spirit’s natural tendencies to heal. People can heal themselves, and energy healing practitioners enhance their abilities to do so by directing energy, the positive chi, to the right places.

I’ve been doing intuitive healing for years, though not regularly. In the last year I’ve decided to study a variety of healing methods with the goal of having a healing practice in place before I’m forced to retire. So far I’ve been studying Quantum Touch and EFT, plus I’ve received the first attunement for Reiki. Quantum Touch is based on Qigong, but isn’t the same thing. I find it to be amazingly effective.

Last night I did a distant healing for one of my daughters. I am able to see people psychically when I do this. I saw her as black with red ribbons of light around her. In other words she was in a very dark spiritual condition. I intuitively placed my hand near her crown chakra and saw blue-white light emanating from that contact, and eventually filling her. Next I did a distant EFT session for her. I feel she still needs more of this. EFT means “Emotional Freedom Techniques”. After that I turned my attention to a problem my boyfriend was having, then after a while went back to look at my daughter. (This was all done psychically, by distant healing methods.) She had gone off-center from the healing light and I saw the darkness reaching out to re-invade her. I renewed the blue-white light, which was quite a beautiful sight. Then I noticed an entity, the figure of a short, dark-skinned man. He was quite angry at me because the light had chased him out of my daughter. I told him that the fact that he’d been chased out by the light told me he was of the darkness and had no business dwelling in my daughter. He flew into my solar plexus to try to inhabit me instead. I told him he needed to leave, to go to the light and be healed. He left and I used the healing light to eradicate extensive cording which he’d left in me that quickly.

I worked more on seeing that my daughter was filled with the blue-white healing light, and was assured that she was healed and would never be the same as before again. I also visualized myself filled with white crystal light so there would be no negative effects from this process left inside me.

If we want to help raise the planetary vibration, we must start by raising our own. In other words, if we want to make the world a happier, safer, more humane place to live, we must start by changing the way we ourselves think, and how we interact with others.

This thought came to me last night as I was washing dishes, something I do every evening just before retiring to my bedroom for computer time. It was one of those brainstorms that came from out of nowhere, but begged to be written about.

I realized I’d had a consciousness-raising experience a few days ago when I participated in an energy healing session. I was running energy into a friend who was experiencing pain using the methods I’ve been learning by reading Quantum Touch: The Power to Heal by Richard Gordon. As we did this, we listened to one of my friend’s CDs, Music for Reiki and Meditation by Shajan. It was intensely peaceful and the session went well, lasting for about half an hour.

While I was running the energy, which is to be done with love and intention to help the other person heal, I experienced moments of intense love transferring with the energy. As I meditated on my breath and energy transfer, the love grew and became stronger. Not only did Quantum Touch help alleviate my friend’s pain, it caused a major shift in my own vibration and capacity to give love. Later in the day he noticed that another problem he’d been having that day was also gone. Though Quantum Touch practitioners direct energy toward a specific affected body part, the energy will travel to wherever it is most needed, and I believe that’s what happened in this session.

As I was thinking about this and washing dishes tonight I realized I’d read something about mutual self-improvement recently. In Education and the Significance of Life, J. Krishamurti wrote that in “helping the student towards freedom, the educator is changing his own values also; he too is beginning to be rid of the ‘me’ and the ‘mine,’ he too is flowering in love and goodness. This process of mutual education creates an altogether different relationship between the teacher and the student.”

A relationship between an energy therapy practitioner and the client is similar. There’s a process of mutual improvement. One cannot help someone else without being helped oneself. There’s a lesson to be learned every time we give of ourselves to help another person. When we take time out of our day to sit with another human being, transferring love and energy, we bring the light into ourselves as energy flows through like a river.

By running energy with love and intention, the practitioner’s love vibration is enabled. Like a light turned on, some of the darkness of this world dissipates. Clarity is brought into focus. Shadows recede. It affects not only the participants of a healing session, but anyone around them. The planetary vibration will be raised, and everyone can benefit from these efforts.

What you just read was my personal impression after studying, learning to run energy, and giving my first Quantum Touch session. I’m still taking baby steps here.
